Dear Tom, Sue & family,
Wendy and I were told today and VERY sad to hear of your Mom's passing. "Grandma Betty" as she was called by our 5 children will be deeply missed. Our entire family had some wonderful times with her and cherished those moments. Wendy and I will never forget attending Governor Roland's Inaugural Ball and several Joe and Kay Calvanese Foundation Gala Balls at the Aqua-Turf with Betty.
She was an amazing and caring woman who showed her love for her family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. We will miss her so much and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
With Sympathy and Love,
The Harvey Family

Dear Koher Family,
I met your Mother working Hostess at The Waters Edge.
I loved her from day one! She made my day when she walked to my Podium and said hello! Her smile was radiant!
She was a caring woman! If Betty did not come in after one day I would ask around and then call her to make sure she was alright!
Betty met my Mother and they enjoyed each other's company. My Mom passed away October 5 of this year. I pray for all your family and May God Bless Betty❣️
Sincerely,
Carole desEnfants

We're so saddened at Betty's passing. She was an institution, both in Southington and Old Saybrook. She WAS the Red Cross for so many years in Southington! Barb especially will miss her dedication to causes and talking with her. She was a good, loyal person and friend to all who knew her! She will be missed. Our sympathy to you and her entire family.

Dear Sue, Tom and families, I was so sorry to read about the passing of your mom and grandmother. It was always wonderful to see your parents in the neighborhood and at The Abbey. I also remember seeing your Mom in Southington from time to time and she was always so gracious. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, may all of your wonderful memories of time together help bring you comfort. God bless Love, Laurie

My deepest condolences for the loss of your Mother.
May you find comfort in the hope given at Jo 5:28,29 where God will remember our dead loved ones and bring them back to earth to enjoy life forever. Ps 37:11,29.
Soon God will wipe away all tears and death and pain will be no more. Rev 21:3,4.

Dear, Tom & Susan & families: I was saddened, but not surprised, to hear of the passing of my dear friend Betty, whose "chariot" I had blessed a few years ago at Water's Edge. My wife Ann (herself recently deceased) & I would look for her whenever I was officiating at a wedding in Westbrook. I called her house the last time I was there, and since there was no answer, I'm not surprised. She had many friends and always like to talk to everyone she met. I'm sure she and my sweet Ann will have a lot to catch up on. She was an institution, and will be dearly missed by many for her bubbly personality. May she Rest In Peace and may you find comfort in your faith, family and friends, and in all the memories you have of her!
