Robert J Cote

Robert J. Cote, 33, of Portland, CT., a Berlin native, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023.

The son of Christopher M. and Patricia K. Cote of Berlin, he was a 2008 graduate of Berlin High School and a former member of the United States Marine Corps.  He enjoyed gardening, construction projects, community theater, video games and drawing. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law Justin and Kate Ponte-Cote of Berlin: A.J. Cote of Queens, New York; his partner Rebecka Cauble of Portland; her parents, Robin and Ann Cauble; her daughter Violet Munson; and several uncles; aunts; and numerous cousins.

Friends and family may call at The Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington, Saturday, October 21, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.   A funeral service will begin in the funeral home at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to Post 69-Berlin, CT.
