Phillip Ouellette Obituary

Phillip P. Ouellette, 64, of Forestvillle, CT, loving husband of Pamela Spada-Ouellette, passed away after a brief illness, Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Phil was Born in New Britain, August 20, 1959, a son of the late Albert Ouellette and Christa (Trautenbach) Ouellette and was raised in Berlin. Affectionately known as “Zoomer”, Phil retired from Manafort Brothers Inc., in 2020, after 24years as a Teamster and tri axle dump truck operator. He grew up living his life in
the fast lane and loved to ride snowmobiles, dirt bikes and basically anything with an engine.  In his retirement Phil enjoyed riding his Harleys, especially with his children, relaxing by the pool with Pam and Layla, target shooting with Fawn, working on construction jobs with Beau, camping trips and Harley rides with Mollie, late night kitchen table talks with Hilary and Pam, and multiple stops per day at Cumby’s with Layla for coffee and snacks. Phil also enjoyed car rides with his dog Chase, trips to the diner, working on cars with his pal Steve Calway and family RV trips to Vermont.

In addition to his wife Pamela, he is survived by his children Fawn Ouellette and Kelly McKeon of Southington, Beau Ouellette of Forestville, Mollie Ouellette and Todd Graver of Berlin, and Hilary Martin-Ouellette of Forestville; and his granddaughter Layla Ouellette; brother to Karen Kruger and her husband Andy Kruger of Ellington. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Eddie and Emma, Kaleigh, Jacob, Katie, Eric and Jason.

He is predeceased by his brother Edward M. Ouellette; and his sister Barbara Ouellette.
