With sadness we share the passing of our sister Margaret. She died January 27, 2021 at the age of 59 years old.
Although she was born with Down's syndrome, Margaret lived an active life. In her early years, she worked at the Food Mart in Berlin, and she was also a member of the Board of Directors for the CCARC in New Britain. She resided at the Bess Macintosh home in Kensington, where she enjoyed being with her friends and working on art projects.
Over the past few of years, Margaret's Down's syndrome and advancing dementia took its toll on her. With the kind care and attention given at the Bess Macintosh home, Margaret was comfortable right up until her passing.
Margaret’s brothers Michael, Daniel and Gary, wish to thank the CCARC and assisting agencies for the many years of service and care they provided to Margaret, to give her a good and vital quality of life.
Amid COVID concerns we have delayed her Celebration of Life until now. For Margaret’s Celebration of Life, friends and family are invited to go directly to St. Paul Church on Saturday September 25th, at 10:00 am for a Mass of Christian Burial
