Lorraine S. Cyr, 98, loving wife for 70 years of Conrad E. Cyr Sr., passed away peacefully, Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Hospital of Central CT. in New Britain.
Lorraine was born in Soldier Pond, Maine, October 11, 1927, a daughter of the late Arthur Saucier and Eugenie (Bouchard) Saucier and had been a Berlin resident for many years.
In addition to her husband Conrad, she is survived by her four children Linda Joyce Utsick (Bill) of Kentucky, Conrad Cyr Jr. (Laurie Nelson) of East Berlin, Richard Cyr (Cindy) of Missouri and Janet Maxwell (Scott) of Maine; her cherished grandchildren Brandon, Mitchell, Jessica, Jacqueline, Marci, Derek, Samantha, Emily, Brycin, Cheryce, Nikolai and Viktor; her great grandchildren Matthew Caroline, Amelia, Jackson, Isla, and Jace; three sisters Rita Thibeault of Maine, Marie Mae Cyr of Southington, Rena (James) Pelletier of Maine; two brothers Wallace (Jean) Saucier of Maine, and Roland (Louise) Saucier of Bristol; her sisters-in-law Mary Saucier of Maine, and Linda Saucier of South Carolina; many nieces; and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters Adele Ouellette, Lilia Gorneault, and Beatrice Bosse; and three brothers Gilman Saucier, Gilbert Saucier and Kenneth Saucier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Church, 485 Alling St., Kensington. Inurnment will follow in West Lane Cemetery, Kensington. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to her husband Conrad E. Cyr Sr., to help with funeral expenses.
