Keith David Bidwell

Keith was born October 11th 1976 to Patricia Elaine Carriere and Robert B. Bidwell in New Britain, Connecticut. He attended Rocky Hill High school and after graduating put his caring and kindness into a career as a registered nurse.

Keith had a big persona and an even bigger heart. Since he was young, he enjoyed his vacations with family and often remembered childhood daytrips to Meig's Point with his Mother and Father as well as his brother Justin.

He met his former wife Sarah Ann Bidwell through mutual friends and had their son, Tyler Bidwell in 1996. The three of them cherished trips to Misquamicut and many state parks where their best memories were formed. He loved music and shared that love with his son — eventually he even had the joy to support Tyler’s own musical endeavors. He was his biggest fan. Keith was also overjoyed to learn recently that he would soon be a grandfather.

Keith loved to make people smile. He also loved to make everyone laugh, and balanced a lighthearted nature with a deep sensitivity that he always wore bravely on his sleeve. He will be deeply missed, and his kindness will live on through everyone that he loved.

Keith is survived by his siblings Justin (and his wife, Misty) Adam, Valerie, Victoria, Aurora (and her sons Derek and Robbie); his stepmother, Michelle Bidwell and his son Tyler.

Memorial services for Keith Bidwell will be held from 5PM to 7PM on Tuesday, July 26th, at Berlin Memorial Funeral Home on 96 Main Street, Berlin, Connecticut 06037. A private celebration of life will be held for close friends and family following the event.
