Annette R Galante

Annette R. Galante of Kensington, CT passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 4th, 2023.  Annette was born January 14th, 1946 in New Britain to the late Etta (Elton) and Ernest Theberge. She grew up in Kensington as the youngest of three girls, attending local schools and graduated from Berlin High School in 1964. She held various positions over the years at local businesses in administrative and sales positions and as an assistant at the local animal hospital.

Annette enjoyed tending to her outdoor plants, venturing north to leaf peep, crafting ceramic art, crossword puzzles, playing Yatzee, cooking holiday dishes and pies, gathering with her old work friends, and watching golf with her husband. Annette was a kind and compassionate soul who would always make you feel welcome. She had a witty sense of humor but was also a voice of reason. She was an amazing wife, mother, mother in-law, grandmother and aunt and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Annette was predeceased by her sisters Gloria and Joan. She leaves behind her husband Robert of 52 years, her son Brian and Daughter in Law Katie, grandchildren Brian Galante,  Cassidy Leiss and her husband Ben, her favorite niece Maryann and her husband Dale, her nieces and nephews Kate, Diana, Stewart, Barbara, and particularly Michael, who was especially close with her, and many beloved friends.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday March 15th, 2023 at The Berlin Memorial Funeral Home. 96 Main St. Kensington, CT. 06037.
