Andrew S. Biskup

Andrew S. Biskup, (Andy) 96, of Kensington died Wednesday January 21, 2026.

Born in Rices Landing, PA the son of Andrew J. Biskup and Mary M. Matyk ,  Andy then lived in Ohio.

Andy moved to Connecticut where he lived with his loving companion Louise Baccaro of Kensington for almost 30 years.

Andy was a veteran of the United States Navy from July 1946 until January of 1950 and served on the U.S.S. Jack W. Wilke (DE-800) Buckley Class Destroyer Escort from 1949-1950.

Louise and Andy enjoyed getting together with friends for great dinners and robust games of cards. 

He was an avid golfer and belonged to the Timberlin Golf Course in Berlin where he played almost every day.

Besides Louise, Andy leaves behind a son Anthony and his wife Renee from Ohio, and a daughter Lorrie from Georgia.

He is predeceased by his two sons, Kevin and Andrew (Steve)

There are no funeral plans, although a memorial mass will be held sometime in the spring at St. Paul’s Church in Kensington where Louise and Andy were parishioners.
