“Betty” as she liked to be called by everyone, had the love for camping and square dancing with her husband Leo until his passing.
She was a Red Hatter for many years where she enjoyed spending time with all the other red hatter ladies. She retired from Kaman Aerospace after 30 years in 2002. She was long time member of The United Methodist Church and attended Sunday services dedicatedly, whenever her health allowed.
In her last years of life, Betty was well cared for by her caregiver, Evelyn Kasso, of New Britain. Her care for Betty is much appreciated by Betty’s family.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main Street, Kensington, followed by a service 11:30 A.M. at The United Methodist Church in East Berlin. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Rocky Hill.
