Peter C. Tordanato, 94, of Berlin passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016.  He was the husband of the late Mary (Galati) Tordanato.

Born in Middletown on February 7, 1922, a son of the late Corrado and Corradina (Mirmina) Tordanato,

Peter was a long-time resident of Berlin and a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving with the 493rd Fighter Squadron from 1941-43.  He was employed as a pattern maker at Emhart Corp. for 44 years and a parishioner of St. Paul Church.  He was a charter member of the VFW Post 10732, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 3675, Berlin Seniors, AARP and Timberline Senior Men’s Golf League.

Peter is survived by 2 sons:  Neil (Janice) Tordanato and Gary Tordanato, 4 grandchildren:  Andrew and wife Kelsey, Andrea, Tyler, and Lauren Tordanato.  He was pre-deceased by 3 brothers:  Joseph, Manuel and Paul Tordanato.

Friends and family may call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. 

Everyone is invited to go directly to St. Paul Church, 467 Alling St., Kensington on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial.  Internment will be private.
