Matthew Joseph Mattera, 30, of New Britain, CT, born February 28th 1986 passed away Thursday September 8th, 2016 unexpectedly. Son of Matthew A. Mattera and Kathryn Mattera, brother of Kristina Mattera, brother in law to Aaron T. Audette, husband of Wiola Majda and father to his beautiful daughter, Maria.

A graduate of Berlin High School, 2003.  Matt went on to enjoy his years studying at Suffolk University, Boston, MA.  He had a lifelong enjoyment of winter sports and adventure.  He had a creative and sometimes wild imagination. 

Matt was generous with a kind heart and he was someone that would show up for you anytime you called.  He has left us with the greatest gift – his daughter Maria. We will go on to remember Matt for his beautiful smile and his love for family.  Matt, we will miss you everyday. Your earthly journey has ended and your soul has found eternal peace.
