Joseph (Sammy) P. Palmieri, Jr, a lifelong resident of Berlin, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 05, 2016.   

Born in New Britain, the son of the late Joseph P. and Lucille (Cianci) Palmieri Sr.

Joseph was a member of the DMA and the Moose Club in Kensington.  He loved pool tournaments and auto racing, he was a friend to everyone he met.

Joseph is survived by 2 sons:  Matthew Palmieri of Kensington and Christopher Palmieri of New Britain, 4 sisters,  Joanne Palmieri of Newington, Vivianna Lamb of Middletown, Donna Nase of Florida and Lucille Palmere of Seattle WA, several nieces and nephews and a longtime girlfriend, Denise Montose of Berlin and his dog Westie.
